Announcing our Grand Reopening!
To our Soltara family, friends, and community,
We hope this message finds you safe and well. It is with great joy and anticipation that we share with you the resumption of our retreats beginning November 1, 2020.
We have been closely following the updates related to COVID-19, international travel, and the retreat industry. While we hoped to be able to resume operations sooner, it is with the safety of our guests and staff in mind, as well as ease of international travel, that we look ahead to the holiday season and plan to welcome our community beginning in November.
Read on for an overview of how we will be handling bookings and rescheduling, as well as additional safety measures we will be implementing to allow guests to fully relax into their experience. Plus, we are excited to announce 2021 retreat dates!
Rescheduling Canceled Retreats
We are offering all registrations which were canceled between March and October, 2020, the first chance to book new retreat dates before we open bookings to our wider community. We will follow up with these registrations individually with further information and instructions.
We will begin accepting new registrations and bookings on July 10. We will make another announcement shortly before this, so keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, you can visit our retreats page to view upcoming retreat dates and programs.
Announcing 2021 Dates
We are excited to announce our retreat schedule for 2021! Although we will not be opening public bookings until July 10, you can still view available 2021 dates if you click into each retreat page via the link above.
Updated Requirements for Travel due to COVID-19
For retreats booked between November 1, 2020 – May 7, 2021, we outline additional terms and policy for all retreat guests. Please read this carefully. With these additional measures in place, as well as the on-site safety protocol outlined below, we ensure a safe retreat space for all guests to relax into their retreat experience.
Additional On-Site Safety & Housekeeping Measures
We have implemented a number of safety and housekeeping measures to ensure regular, thorough sanitation of all high-traffic and high-touch surfaces, operational adjustments to minimize touching and sharing of items, and availability of PPE and alcohol-based hand sanitizer for all guests. Read about it here.
Additional Safety & Housekeeping Measures from our Friends at the Wyndham
We partner with the Wyndham San Jose Herradura Hotel as our meetup location on day 1 of each retreat. For those who will be booking their stay at the Wyndham before and/or after their retreat, we also want to share their updated safety measures they are taking as they resume operations.
Again, we want to sincerely thank our entire community for sharing your strength, love, challenges, and triumphs throughout this crisis. As our families, communities, and the world continue to grapple with a new reality, we are more determined than ever to be a part of the positive change we wish to see. We will continue to do our own work and provide a safe haven for those who wish to come and dive deeply into their healing. Whatever you may be going through, whatever you may be dealing with, know that you are not alone and we are here to support you however we can.
With so much love and gratitude,
The Soltara team.
