IMPORTANT UPDATE

We received a mistaken donation of over $54,000 CAD to this fundraiser, which we are working directly with the donor & bank to resolve. Unfortunately, this donation is still showing in the total amount, despite the donor disputing the charge and PayPal removing the funds from this campaign.

We are leaving the donation campaign open while this gets resolved, however, all other donations have now been sent to Maestra Olga.  Please note that this fundraiser is in CAD, Canadian Dollars, not USD, and therefore the amount raised is in CAD.

Maestra Olga & Maestro Américo have been part of the Soltara family and at the heart of our medicine community for years. Many of our beloved guests have had the opportunity to sit in ceremony with them and receive their love, wisdom, and healing.

It is with a heavy heart that we share unfortunate news that Maestra Olga is currently in the hospital, and has received a diagnosis which will require longer-term care and treatment.  

While we at Soltara have been supporting her, Maestro Américo, and family members here while she receives treatment, the cost of treatment is high, and the length is yet to be determined. 

We are asking those in our community to hold Maestra Olga and her whole family in their hearts and prayers. And for those who have the means to do so, to consider helping them in this time of need. Any level of financial support is appreciated as we work to give Maestra Olga the best possible medical care, for as long as she needs.

Out of respect for their privacy and confidentiality, we are mindful of what we share publicly regarding the specifics of her situation. We kindly ask that this privacy is respected during this sensitive time for her and her family.

All donations received through this campaign will go directly to Maestra Olga and the family, which will support their medical costs, and travel costs for her family to visit while she receives treatment.
