Hello Beloved Soltara Fam!

We have been quietly working on our most breathtaking location yet, and we are so excited to finally share it with you!

To celebrate the opening of Pacific Valley, we are giving away 10 free retreats, and we need your help naming this beautiful new space! Check out this short video with Ilan, our Retreat Director, for a first look inside this space. Let it inspire you – we’d love to hear your name ideas!

Enter your idea on our retreat giveaway page here, and you’ll be entered into the raffle!

We’ll be choosing 10 winners on April 4th. Or, if you’d like to book before then, the first 100 guests booked before April 30th receive $500 off their retreat – use discount code FG500. 🌱

Our Pacific Valley retreat is unlike anything we have ever offered! Located along a historic wildlife corridor surrounded by protected rainforest, home to over 400 bird species and blooming with tropical gardens, this land feels deeply alive.

You’ll find howler monkeys, scarlet macaws, and wildlife right outside your door, or along the walking paths throughout the property beneath towering trees and flowering plants. There are countless places to sit, reflect, and take in the sounds of the rainforest, offering a greater sense of space and privacy than any space we’ve held before.

The air here is a few degrees cooler than at the coast. Warm during the day, and refreshingly comfortable in the evenings, it offers a more temperate mountain climate while still being just 30 minutes from the Pacific Ocean.

With newly built accommodations, a brand-new maloca, and thoughtfully designed communal spaces, Bijagual combines the feeling of being immersed in the jungle with the comfort of modern infrastructure. A saltwater pool, gym, spa, permaculture gardens, and private and shared room options support deep rest and meaningful time away.

This is also a true farm-to-table retreat. Fresh vegetables, herbs, and ingredients grow right on the land through our permaculture gardens and fruit trees, becoming nourishing meals prepared fresh each day. The property also includes an aquafarm and chickens, providing fresh eggs and other ingredients directly from the land where you’re staying!

All retreats also include a guided excursion through Carara National Park, a visit to the famous Tárcoles River Crocodile Bridge, and evening jungle walks along the trails that wind throughout the property. Plus, you are just 30 minutes from the Pacific Ocean, giving you the chance to explore some of Costa Rica’s most beautiful beaches before or after your retreat.

It’s hard to fully capture the beauty and feeling of this place in words, but we hope this gives you a glimpse of what makes it so special.

Thank you for being part of Soltara’s story and for joining us in building a community of people stepping up to do their inner work and make themselves and the world a more beautiful place.

With deep gratitude,
Melissa, Sylvia, & the Soltara Team
