My journey with healing began years ago when I was on track to attend medical school in the United States. With a special passion for the science behind holistic health and the mind-body connection, I completed a research thesis on the psychoneuroimmunology of yoga and meditation. As I studied the inseparable nature of the body and mind, I realized something was missing in my path with the Western medical approach – the soul and its emotional heart. I began to understand the impact that trauma and unresolved emotional pain had on an individual’s well-being. Though I shifted my trajectory and did not attend traditional medical school, I have since found myself on a wonderful and exciting path where “medicine” is present all around me, every day.
When I first began working with Ayahuasca, I was coming to heal the pain I was carrying in my heart and soul. Like many who come to this work, I had my own long, heavy story of generational trauma that I slowly began to face, ceremony after ceremony. Through the grace of this work, I have met the deepest parts of my being that needed to be seen, held, and, more than anything, felt. My journey eventually led me to where I am now, fully devoted to these plant medicines and being in service to others who come to these ways. I would not be where I am today without the amazing facilitators, teachers, and guides who held me in my hardest and darkest moments, and I have now committed my life to offering this for others as well.
Since 2022, I have been working as a retreat facilitator and supporting hundreds of guests from all walks of life. As an ongoing student of holistic trauma healing and personal transformation work, I combine my training in Somatic Attachment Therapy and nervous-system-based approaches with my experience in plant medicine to offer a heart-centered, compassionate, and therapeutic presence. For in this space, one’s own connection to their inner wisdom and guidance can blossom, leading the way back home to wholeness. With deep reverence and gratitude, I cherish the opportunity to offer support for all those who come to Soltara feeling the call of these sacred healing traditions.
