Maestra Clemencia is the older sister of Maestra Anita, who is married to Maestro Javier.

She was born in 1970 in the Shipibo village of Puerto Firmeza, in the Ucayali region of Peru. Maestra Clemencia lives in that community to this day. She has been blessed with 7 children, 2 girls and 5 boys.

Clemencia drank Ayahuasca for the first time with her father. She began dieting master plants over 20 years ago. She has been working as a healer with patients in ceremonies for the past 15 years.

Her favourite plants are Ayahuasca, Ajo Sacha and Piñon Colorado. As a healer she follows the guidance of the master plants she has dieted. She asks guests to come ready to focus their attention in ceremony and do their parts for their healing, because healing with Ayahuasca is not a passive activity.

Maestra Clemencia has an infectious laugh and a light heartedness which is part of her medicine.

She is honored to join the Soltara team and to work with other Maestros as well as with the facilitators and the local Costa Rican team for the benefit of Soltara’s guests. All who come ready to heal are welcome.
