A Profound Experience
Rooted in Tradition
At our seaside and mountain retreats in Costa Rica, we offer an intentional framework to support deep inner work. Guided by the wisdom of the Indigenous Shipibo tradition, our team creates a safe, compassionate space for exploration, insight, and healing.
Plant medicines like Ayahuasca, alongside other holistic and therapeutic practices, invite us to meet all parts of ourselves – including those shaped by pain or conditioning. When approached with care and support, these experiences can bring clarity, understanding, and the opportunity to release what no longer serves.
Our experienced Shipibo healers and facilitators guide this process with integrity, drawing from traditional knowledge, embodied practices, and modern therapeutic approaches to support your journey.
Meet Our Advisors
We are grateful to have the support and guidance of renowned luminaries in the field of plant medicine, psychedelic science, shamanism, psychology, and healthcare. Our board of advisors helps guide our mission, ethos, programming, and contributions to the global renaissance of holistic healing.
Dr. Gabor Maté
We are grateful for the support of our esteemed Advisory Board, including internationally renowned speaker, bestselling author, and retired physician Dr. Gabor Maté, whose groundbreaking work and expertise on trauma, mental illness, addiction, and plant medicine healing have informed our facilitation approach at Soltara. Many of our facilitation team members have trained in his Compassionate Inquiry methodology, and we are honored to be a trusted place to support his community in their plant medicine healing.
