Isabelle comes from Quebec, Canada. She inherited Native American roots from her grandfather and has always been fascinated by indigenous culture and spirituality. She has traveled all around the world, learning from tribes in Africa, Central and South America. Her passion for ancient knowledge combined with a deep call to spirituality, naturally drew her to plant medicines, and more specifically, Ayahuasca. In reality, she feels that the Plant herself brought her into this alliance, to work together.
Her first experience with the medicine was with a Shipibo Maestro traveling to Canada. From that point, a series of synchronicities brought her to meet an elder Shipibo Maestro in Mexico, and she immediately knew that a path had begun. Not so long after, she started to organize ceremonies, learning from and assisting a Canadian Maestra from the same lineage – and traveled to Peru for her first Master Plant diet. Nearly five years ago, she moved to Peru to continue her apprenticeship with the Shipibo tradition. She is now based in Moyobamba, San Martin, Peru.
Isabelle has extensive teaching and facilitation skills which she developed through more than 25 years of experience facilitating and creating workshops, teachings and programs for personal growth and healing. She designed different retreat concepts, transformative workshops, plant medicine healing journeys and participated in the creation of uplifting programs for homeless individuals and mental health organizations. Her approach is intuitive and heart centered and she facilitates safe spaces where oneness, harmony, joy, peace and self reflection co-exist. She traveled through Canada for almost 7 years with a service that she created called Cercle de Vie, teaching about Indigenous wisdom in schools and sharing with teachers how to apply tools to induce more harmony in a scholastic or organizational context. She is always looking for new, innovative, and respectful ways to connect various ancestral teachings, spiritual knowledge, and scientific discoveries to shift consciousness beyond what seems possible. She plays music, sings, and is passionate about well-being, plants, and healing.
