Set along a historic wildlife corridor, home to over 400 species of birds with vibrant tropical gardens and groves, the land offers sweeping valley views, fresh mountain air, and a deep sense of peace.
Paved walking paths wind throughout the property, offering space to explore, reflect, and sit quietly beneath towering trees and flowering gardens. Eat fresh food grown right on the land through our permaculture project, and relax in spacious indoor and outdoor communal areas.
With newly built accommodations, a brand-new maloca, gym, spa, and saltwater pool, this center offers modern comforts immersed in the jungle and grounded in the living landscape.

Located along a protected wildlife corridor, this land is alive with over 400 species of exotic birds, lush tropical gardens, and walkable rainforest trails. Dozens of fruit trees, including avocado, mango, and other tropical varieties, grow throughout the property, and our onsite permaculture program and freshwater fish pond help nourish guests directly from the land.
A Comfortable Climate, Close to the Coast
Just 90 minutes from San José and 30 minutes from the Pacific Ocean, the air here is a few degrees cooler than at the coast. Warm during the day, and refreshingly comfortable in the evenings, it offers a more temperate mountain climate, while remaining close to some of Costa Rica’s most beloved eco-destinations.

To support a deeper connection with the land, retreats at this location begin with a guided visit to the nearby Carara National Park. This shared arrival experience invites guests to slow down, attune to the natural beauty of Costa Rica, and enter the retreat space grounded, present, and held by the living ecosystem.
